If you haven't recently updated your wildland fire safety training,
here's your chance! RACES is sponsoring a session on Saturday, July
21st. Roxanne Provaznik of CAL FIRE (i.e. the Organization Formerly
Known As CDF) will be presenting the class at the San Diego Sheriff's
Department HQ, 9621 Ridgehaven Court, San Diego, CA 92123.

While this session has been set up for RACES, in the past they have
been open to all interested parties. Send an email to Gerry Sandford

to check for availablity and to let him know you wish to attend.

I've uploaded a map of the location that I received from Gerry. As
you can see, the location is very close to our Chapter HQ.

Additional instructions: go to end of Ridgehaven Ct. and enter
driveway on your right. Go all the way back to the sheriff's Admin
Building. (See red star on map.)

The class starts at 0830 hours sharp and should be over about at 1300
hours. Gerry asks that all participants please be on time.
