This is a very useful list! I wonder what the difference is between: CRT = Critical Response Team DRT = Disaster Response Team ERT = Emergency Response Team DAT = Disaster Action Team DART = Disaster Assistance Response Team It would be good communications practice to compose a meaningful message using many of these acronyms and send it over a radio channel and see if the receiving operators can decipher it! There is something to be said of the ICS training I got, that during a disaster, all communication (voice & written) was to be in PLAIN LANGUAGE!
