Re: Papa System Website & Mu-Teams

Thanks, Steve. Worked for me.

I think one of the reasons for this is that they want more robust passwords. They wouldn't take my old nine character one - they insisted a minimum of twelve characters. They also apparently don't like my VPN.

Hi group
Yes I had the same problem. When I clicked on the PAPA site link it took me to a "JS Dashboard" which I found non functional. I am a paid up member but the site would still not let me in, and rejected my long used User name and password. I had to find a different way to pay my current dues membership.

Also - my "Microsoft Teams" account is STILL inoperative! I called over a month ago, to the I.T. National line and waited on hold, listening to elevator music for 45 mins, for some one to pick up. Finally some one answered, and I told them I needed my Microsoft Teams account restored. They filled out a trouble "ticket" and said some one would soon call my cell. This NEVER happened. I got an email about a month later informing me that the "problem" had been " "corrected"   - SO I sent a test message to my Microsoft account - and it was STILL rejected!! So I am giving up on attending ANY meetings using Microsoft Teams!! Recently -  I got an email from National asking if the problem had been resolved with a "Yes"  or  "NO" button. I clicked on "NO" and pasted the "rejection message" on my return traffic. Since then I have heard or received NOTHING from Red Cross National I.T.  Such GREAT SERVICE! -But I am only a lowly volunteer.

Subject: [ARC2-SDICC] Papa System Website

All,

The Papa System has decided to lock down some of their web pages to non-members.  One of those pages is the repeater page.  On this page, the Papa System has indicated, they are once again, updating the PL tones.  So, I guess if you are a non-member, you are out of luck!  How are we suppose to keep our personal radios up to date and be prepared, without this basic information?

The lack of this information is not conducive to emcomm or emergency preparedness for our DST group.
