I think it would be also useful to
activate the Red Cross DMR -Pri channel for those who are not able
to get on with their computer, so they can follow the meeting.

If I did everything correctly and typed everyone’s e-mail address right, you should receive an invite to a Microsoft Teams Meeting for Sat from 9am till 11am..
If you don’t get the invite please let me know so I can go back and review what I did.
To join the meeting on Sat just click on Join Meeting. It will give you the option of downloading the Microsoft Teams app or launching from your browser. Either option works. If you have a microphone and speaker on your computer you will be able to hear and see everything from the computer. If you don’t have a microphone or speaker on your computer you can view on the computer and hear audio by dialing into the phone number listed and entering the conference code for audio.
Anyone that has any issues let me know Bob

URGENT Japanese CoViD19 finds
Nat Suwarnasarn
Hello, I’ve just received information that Japanese researchers are warning that the CoViD-19 is transmitted by Aerosol mechanism. Contrary to the previous beliefs where coughing and sneezing particles fall to the ground only. That people separation of 2m or 6 feet social distance will still be at risks. This means AIRBORNE !!! This is why the virus spread so quickly.
So all must wear masks when you go outside. I will find the source of the Japanese research demo Video and send the link. (11Mb file) During the mean time, here’s the video explaining droplets vs aerosol transmission à https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1JEbx9NY2I
If the information is found to be incorrect, it is better to prevent the fire than to put the fire out.

Re: No inf!! DMR setting for Group Call
Nat Suwarnasarn
Yes, Thanks Greg. Also need to mentioned that I’ve updated the firmware from 1.13 straight to 1.17 with no issue (so far). Also updated the Digital contacts as well. v The CPS was updated first to Ver 1.17 before anything else, then the firmware 1.17 next and then the Digital Contacts follows. v Also reduced the Mic gain to 3. (See below)
BTW, Anyone can create a group call. I.e. use your DMR ID for people to call in if others set their Radio to Group call for your DMR ID. In other words, if you have ZumSpot, creating a group call conference is a breeze. Using Internet only, no repeater required (but can also use PAPA Repeater). 1. Turn on your radio and connect to your HotSpot. 2. Long press your zero (0) key at the bottom of the radio. You'll see a blue entry screen. 3. Press the (#) key to toggle to Group ID (Talk Group ID). (You want Talk Group ID and not Private ID.) FW 1.17 allows (has) this. Enter the 7 digit DMR ID then press PPT. And you’re in the Group call. Recall to set Group Call Hold Time to Infinity.

You need a newer CPS software version (v1.16) to have this Infinity option.
