Thank you Keith for the AI6BX-10-RMS-XW-WEST node installation on San Marcos Peak.

 

Update:

·         Placed the dish on 2” PVC pipe for stability, still on the window sill.  

·         SNR improved from ~ 16 dB (?) to ~20 dB and Data Rate from 14-19 Mbps to 25-29 Mbps. Will continue to optimize Azimuth and X-Y axis.

·         Test send from WinLink bounced back because WinLink email Address is not listed in main@ARC2-SDICC.groups.io (might be beneficial to add callsign@... to Groups.io account in case we need to send email from WinLink back out.

Update 9/14/21: AREDN N6BRV-QTH node

·         Updated the Firmware today 9/13/21 to v 3.21.4.0

·         Moving the AREDN dish around (still on the window sill) improved the data Rate from 7.5Mbps to ~14.0 to 19.6Mbps (doubled from 9/13/21)

·         Using my computer to access the internet via the RF 5GHz link to AI6BX-10-RM5-XW-WEST     (Sending this Email from Outlook)

·         Testing WinLink connectivity.
