There will be a very short meeting to start with in San Diego, then move to the Drill. This Drill will involve the Orange County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County Chapter & Imperial Valley Service Center. We will start off sending Winlink Msgs between the chapters, then move to voice communications among all of us If you have a problem getting into the building please call my cell phone 760-533-1957 and we will get you into the facility. Bob Birch #9009 Sorry did not change the groups.io calendar message. We will not be doing the drill this month because of different issues that came up. One being weather for some of the other chapters to practice before hand. We have a substitute plan in place that different chapter will practice and drill at different times. Will explain at the meeting on Saturday. We will be practicing setting up our portable repeater and testing its range during the meeting so please bring your HT to participate. The reason for the portable repeater testing is it’s my plan to use it during the Sound The Alarm event on April 1^st. Our April meeting will be the Sound The Alarm event. Really need 9 or 10 operators to support the event with movement of people and material. More than 10 would be welcome so we could rotate operators for breaks. Please send an e-mail if you are able to help out with Sound The Alarm.
